Scripture References For Baptism

Some time back I was asked for some Scripture References for Water Baptism. After I had gotten some together I realized that it would not be complete if I did not give a complete Scripture Reference for 'Baptisms'.

They are:

The Baptism of Blood: The Baptism of Blood is for our Soul. The Father is the one who Baptizes us in the Blood of Christ. When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior God the Father 'covers' us or 'Baptizes' us with the Blood of Jesus Christ.

The Baptism of Water: The Baptism of Water is for our Body. The 'Old Man', that is our flesh, has no place in the Kingdom of God. This 'Old Man', our body, dies, so to speak, in the 'desert'. By Faith we Live in the 'New Man' which is the new body that Jesus will give us at the Resurrection. Until then we 'live' in Christ Jesus as His Body in Faith. The Holy Spirit is the One who Baptizes us into Christ's Body.

The Baptism of The Holy Spirit: The Baptism of The Holy Spirit is for our Spirit. With this baptism our spirits come 'alive' and we are able to do the will of The Father in Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the one who Baptizes us in The Holy Spirit.

I hope that these references will be helpful to you in your study of the Scriptures.
